LEGENDARY DENVER
RADIOMAN
HAL MOORE SPEAKS!
If you're a baby boomer who grew up in Denver, you remember "Hal Baby
Moore" at KIMN radio -- but you may also know him from the more than two
decades that he spent at KHOW  (Hot Dog Harold) .-- having his own evening
drive-time show, also as part of the "Hal and Charlie" team that woke up Denver
with their own style!

So what is Hal doing these days?    As of November 2009 he's approaching 70 --
and he's got two jobs -- he does a show for Jones Satellite (they provide radio
programming for stations across the nation) and he's the morning guy for KRWZ.
("Cruisin'")   KRWZ is an oldies station, and sounds a little bit like the old KIMN
radio. And interestingly enough, it's at 950 AM, the same frequency that KIMN
was on!

Hal spoke to the "Broadcast Professionals of Colorado" at a luncheon on
11-18-09 and talked about his career -- since I accidentally had a camcorder
running at ringside, it's only sporting of me to share this with you --
It was recorded in High Def, but for the sake of cramming this onto a webpage,
it's been "streamed" down a little and separated into parts so that your computer
doesn't have to chew too many things at once here...
The presentation starts with Bill Struck introducing Hal --

Many thanks to Hal for granting me permission
to put his presentation onto this website!
